“Clothing of righteousness”!

Islam pays a lot of attention to the issue of dress. As we can see from the previous paragraphs, Islam rules are very clear and direct. Through these rules Islam aims at several things: · Raising the human-being to the level accepted by Allah, above all other animals and creatures. · Educating the human-being (male or female) to fulfill their roles in life, and not to go astray with Satan. · Setting shields that protect the human-being against falling down to being a servant of his lust and desire. · Training the human soul to be honest and not cheat others by falsifying the appearance and changing the creation of Allah. · Creating a kind of unity between its followers, since they agree on their outer appearance. This creates a harmony in souls and hearts. · Distinguishing its followers from the followers of evil. But most importantly, Islam deals with the hearts before the bodies and through all its rules aims at shaping the inside of the Muslim. A true muslim have something special that distinguishes him from others even if they have similar outer appearance, something that shines from his face from the bottom of his heart, something that controls every movement of his body, something that makes his truly as “an obvious mark between people”, it is called Righteousness. “O ye Children of Adam! We have bestowed clothing upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the clothing of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition!” (7:26)
